Founded in 1838, The Pennington School is a private (independent), coeducational school serving day and boarding students in grades 6 through 12. The Pennington School has a 55-acre campus located in Pennington, NJ and is located only 60 miles from New York City and 40 miles from Philadelphia. Pennington offers a vigorous and challenging college preparatory curriculum. It begins with a wide-ranging curriculum in Middle School and includes 40 Upper School AP and honors courses to challenge even the most ambitious students. Unique to Pennington, there are Applied Science, Global Studies, and a Senior Year Internship for students to take advantage of to boost their learning to the next level. The Stephen Crane Lecture Series features local, national, and internationally recognized individual authors, artists, or public figures to speak and perform on campus that Pennington students are encouraged to listen to.
