Miller School of Albemarle (MSA) is full of rich history. Founded in 1878, it was one of the first coeducational boarding and day schools in the nation. Currently, Miller School of Albemarle is a college preparatory school for grades 8 through 12. MSA is located on 1,600 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The historic campus is 12 miles west of Charlottesville, Virginia. The curriculum at MSA is rigorous, but is also individualized to fit each student’s needs. Students are challenged to be problem solvers by developing analytical skills. MSA prepares students for college by offering Advanced Placement and honors classes. MSA features nine signature programs in a wide variety such as Land Management, Cycling, Service, and Humanities among more.
